It was founded in 1750 by Thomas Harrison in London on Warwick Lane. In 1839, Thomas Harrison entered into partnership with John William Parker, thus creating Harrison &amp; Co. From 1854 the company was called Harrison &amp; Sons, later Harrison &amp; Sons Limited, and it existed under this name until 1997.
